United Way of Palm Beach County announces the release of a Request for Applications (RFA) to implement its funding strategies in the area of Special Needs. Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations that are currently providing, or could successfully implement, quality services or programs in alignment with the strategies noted in the RFA are encouraged to apply for funding.
Funds will be awarded for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 beginning October 1, 2020 and ending September 30, 2021, with the possibility of renewal for two additional years.
DEADLINE
Applications for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 must be submitted through United Way’s grant website (CyberGrants) prior to 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2020. Late applications and applications missing required information or documents will not be accepted.
ORIENTATION
Prior to this deadline, applicants are strongly encouraged to attend an orientation session.
Register at United Way’s Calendar of Events for one of the two orientation sessions being held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 and Monday, March 16, 2020.
Please download and bring a copy of the RFA with you to the orientation. Printed copies will not be available.

QUESTIONS
Questions regarding the applications or the applications process may be submitted in writing until Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Phone calls are not allowed. No questions will be accepted after Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
All responses to questions will be posted on United Way of Palm Beach County’s website by Monday, March 30, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
