Youth Development Professionals (5 Full time positions & 25 Per Diem positions)
HomeSafe is currently seeking (5) FULL-TIME Youth Development Professionals (YDP) and up to 25 PER DIEM Youth Development Professionals (YDP) to round-out its Residential Group Care Team. Position description below. Qualified candidates for the per diem YDP positions would be hired on an on-call basis with the ability to step into a full-time role, if needed.
Location: Boca Raton, Lake Worth, and West Palm Beach, Florida
Salary range: $12/hour
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, AFLAC, 403b, PTO
Employment Type: Full Time – 40 and 32 hour positions as well as per diem shifts available

Our Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) provide direct care support to adolescents with high-end psychiatric challenges. Working in a residential setting, YDPs participate with activities of daily living and recreational programming based on established activity schedules. YDPs implement the behavior management system; maintain open communication with all levels of staff and community partners, and complete all necessary documentation. YDPs serve as role models demonstrating positive and professional experiences that help prepare our youth for their future.
To be a part of this enriching experience, a High School Diploma/GED is required. Minimum of one (1) year experience working with adolescents in a residential group setting is required. Valid and insurable FL driver license is mandatory. Drug and background screening will be conducted.
