Emerging Leaders Society is looking for volunteers to join them in picking fresh fruits and vegetables that will go to hungry families in Palm Beach County.

United Way funded partner, CROS Ministries, utilizes volunteers to recover fresh fruits and vegetables from mango groves, farmersÕ fields, cull lines, and donorsÕ backyards. This food recovery strategy allows the harvested produce to be distributed free of charge through the Palm Beach County Food Bank to their food partners. DonÕt miss this opportunity to make a difference for individuals and families in our community! Once all the work is done, join ELS members for a post-event happy hour at Old Key Lime House in Lantana (more details will be provided closer to the event)!

Please dress comfortably, wear closed-toe shoes, a hat/sunglasses, sunscreen, face covering, and bring water.

*Location will be finalized a week before the event. Volunteers will be sent an email with specific location and directions a few days prior to the event.

United Way of Palm Beach County adheres to the CDCÕs guidance and recommendations at the time of the event as they relate to face coverings and social distancing for attendees. For the most recent guidance, please visit the CDCÕs website.
