Heart of the Matter: Fighting Hunger in PBC

A panel of local, state & national nonprofit and community leaders will discuss the PBC Hunger Relief plan; how United Way and our partners overcame challenges to build infrastructure that connects families with healthy food, especially at the peak of COVID-19; and share available hunger relief resources and initiatives in our community. Keynote speaker Commissioner Nikki Fried will share about her team’s role in the county-wide hunger relief plan and host a brief Q&A.

Our Executive Vice President of Community Investments, Dr. Seth Bernstein and our Vice President of Hunger Relief, Julie Kreafle will be co-moderating this conversation.
