International Women’s Day – “Making the Invisible Visible”
Did you know that only one in four executive leaders is female? Across the top 3,000 companies in the United States, just 12 percent of profit-and-loss-focused roles such as chief operating officer or head of sales are filled by women; and fewer than six percent of these 3,000 companies are led by a female CEO.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, Women United invites you to join us for an important, virtual discussion on gender bias and inequality in the workplace. Led by Karina Swette Morgan, long-time United Way volunteer and Partner with Oliver Wyman, “Making the Invisible Visible” highlights four specific hidden barriers for women that must be made more visible to all, and identifies three key levers to get results and move women forward in their careers much more quickly.
Proceeds benefit Women United’s “This Girl Can! Career Inspiration for Young Women” workshop.
Contributions benefit United Way of Palm Beach County, a not-for-profit tax-exempt organization. Our EIN is 59-0683258.
