Virtual Lunch with a Leader featuring Nancy Stellway

Mrs. Stellway is the Executive Director of Take Stock in Children Palm Beach County, a nonprofit organization that provides wrap around support services to low-income at-risk youth in Palm Beach County, Florida. The program works with students as early as middle school, through high school and until college completion. As a true collaborator she was instrumental in establishing a partnership with her local school district and a funder which brought out the best of both programs while providing more students with college readiness and mentors. This partnership also played a key role in the founding of Achieve Palm Beach County, a collective impact group focused on the college and career readiness. She is also a Leadership Palm Beach County Class of 2018 alumni and a Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship Nonprofit Executive Program graduate. She offers peer to peer mentoring to others in the nonprofit sector. As a leader, she encourages team members to voice their input and work together for solutions. Because of that, the program continues to evolve and implement new program services, now becoming a model program within the state. Nancy is patient when it comes to training new team members, but understands what it takes to motivate her team to work efficiently to better serve our students and our community.
