Hurricane Dorian Recovery Efforts

United Way of Palm Beach County is working diligently with local and regional partners, including United Way of Broward, United Way of Miami-Dade, United Way of Turks and Caicos, and the Bahamian government, to ensure that the most needed items are collected and sent to the Bahamas. Here are a few ways you can get involved and help our neighbors in the Bahamas recover from Hurricane Dorian.

Make a Financial Donation

Text uwdorian to 41444 to give, or donate to the Hurricane Dorian Relief Fund. 100% of donations will be used to meet storm-related needs and support mid and long-term recovery efforts in the Bahamas, as well as to assist evacuees from the Bahamas to our community.

Donate Supplies

If you wish to donate supplies, the Abacoa Strong Relief Center in the Mall at Wellington Green is still accepting donations. Please call Yvonne (561)281-8599 or Kimber (561)502-2632 to arrange a convenient time to drop off donations.

Thank you to every individual and businesses who donated supplies and hosted a collection site! Our community has shown incredible support and generosity to our neighbors in the Bahamas.
