10/9/24 Update: New Hurricane Milton information from Palm Beach County

FREE RIDES AVAILABLE to shelters: both Lyft and Uber use code MILTONRELIEF

Note the state is also announcing a shuttle number:  1-800-729-3413 should someone be in an evacuation zone.

10/8/24 Update: Shelters to open in Palm Beach County

Palm Beach County is issuing evacuations for residents in Zone A.

The following 5 general population shelters will be opened on Wednesday, October 9th at noon:

  • Palm Beach Gardens High School
  • Palm Beach Central High School
  • Forest Hill High School
  • Park Vista High School
  • Lake Shore Middle School

Special Needs Shelter requires a pre-registration. Call 561-712-6400 for more information.

The one pet-friendly shelter will be at West Boynton Recreation Center and will also open on Wednesday, October 9th at noon. If you plan on going to a shelter, please bring your own bedding, medication, and necessities.
