When you volunteer with United Way, we promise you will:
United Way hosts volunteer projects year-round that are perfect for individuals, families, and groups. Custom volunteer opportunities are also available for organizations and corporations.
With all that our world is facing today, it’s more important than ever for kids to have a caring adult in their life who will encourage and empower them through real life decisions. Right now in Palm Beach County, 1,050 kids are waiting to be matched with a mentor. It takes one person to make a difference in a child’s life. You can be that person.
United Way of Palm Beach County is actively involved with disaster management efforts as the lead volunteer agency for Palm Beach County Emergency Management ESF-15, Volunteers and Donations. As such, United Way recruits and coordinates volunteers year-round to support the relief in the county before and after a disaster. That responsibility includes calling into action United Way’s trained and spontaneous volunteers and opening a Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) to mobilize volunteers.
