As we prepare for the 30th year of Project Thanksgiving™ with our partners CBS 12 News and the Palm Beach County Food Bank, our goal is to raise money and food supplies to provide our neighbors in need with a hearty, holiday meal.
Did you know?
- It only takes $20 to feed a family of 4.
- Over 300,000 residents don’t know where their next meal will come from.
- 53,000 of those individuals are children.
- SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) applications increased by 380% between February 2020 and May 2020, and increased by 42% between April and May.
For many hard working individuals and families in our community, putting food on the table is hard every day. During the holidays, it’s even harder. Here are three easy ways to make a difference this holiday season!
Donate to Project Thanksgiving

Host a Food Drive
A great way to help our neighbors in need this holiday season is hosting a food drive with your colleagues, friends or family. This year we are also offering a virtual food drive option! You may use our Amazon Wishlist or Target Wishlist to send food items to the Palm Beach County Food Bank. If you would like to host a food drive for Project Thanksgiving, please view the flier or contact Nubia Ortega for more information.
Help us spread joy this holiday season! Volunteers are needed to help sort and pack the food items donated to Project Thanksgiving on November 13th. Two shifts are available: 9:00am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 4:00pm. Volunteers must wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. Click here to RSVP.
