Our annual Heart of Palm Beach County event was held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. And true to its name, the evening was filled with passion, generosity, and unity that define the very soul of our community.
From the moment guests arrived, there was a palpable sense of warmth and gratitude—a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when a community comes together with a shared purpose. It was a night to honor the changemakers, the volunteers, and the everyday heroes who make Palm Beach County stronger.
We were proud to recognize individuals and organizations whose dedication to service, leadership, and compassion has made a lasting impact. With every heartfelt acceptance video and speech, the crowd was reminded of the real difference that kindness, commitment, and collaboration can make.
The evening began with a stirring presentation of the colors presented by the 4th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company of the U.S. Marine Corps, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel William F. Dammin. Henry Moreno, Chair of MISSION UNITED and UWPBC Board Member, led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Next, the incredibly talented Andie Miller, a vocal student from Alexander Dreyfoos School of the Arts, moved the audience with a stunning rendition of the National Anthem. And the energy didn’t stop there—the Platinum Steppers from Achievement Centers for Children & Families brought the house down with a dynamic step performance.
