Throughout the summer, United Way of Palm Beach County has been helping children stay nourished, engaged, and learning.

From Summer BreakSpot meals to literacy programs and mentoring, these experiences help children build confidence, discover their potential, and keep moving forward.

Support That Lasts All Year Long

  • Summer BreakSpot programs provide nutritious meals, enrichment activities, and a safe place to learn and grow all summer long.
  • United Way volunteers build brighter futures by doing whatever it takes to help children stay strong and families thrive. Together, they turn compassion into action.
  • Mentoring, after-school support, and academic programs help students stay connected, motivated, and on track—so they can achieve their goals in school and life.

Now, as thousands of students return to classrooms across Palm Beach County, we know that a successful school year begins long before the first bell rings.

Thanks to our dedicated supporters, United Way invests in programs and initiatives that help children develop strong foundations for success in school and in life. Click to see why these children are smiling.

Last year, together we helped:

  • 80,244 Family Weekend Backpack meal bags distributed.
  • 2,352 children supported through the Family Weekend Backpack Program.
  • 6,000 mentor matches facilitated through the Mentor Network.
  • 50% increase in participation in the Mobile Summer BreakSpot Program.

Your gift today will help provide the support children need–this school year and beyond.
