MISSION UNITED: Highlighting Veteran Resources and Stories

A local veteran, Scott McLean, started a veteran podcast featuring agencies that serve the veteran community. Every Monday, the VetsConnet Podcast will feature a veteran story or an agency meant to highlight resources or lessons learned. The first two agencies, HERD Foundation and 22 Project, are already out, with national-level organizations also on the docket.

With help from the VA and MISSION UNITED, Scott will continue to promote resources and issues facing the veteran community in the local area and nationally. The podcast is available on all major streaming services.

Mentor Recruitment
Learn more about how you can impact the youth of Palm Beach County! United Way of Palm Beach County’s Mentor Center is hosting a recruitment event on Tuesday, April 30th, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Uppercutz Barbershop in Delray Beach. Haircuts, food, and information will be available at this event.
