MISSION UNITED: Connecting Veterans to Essential Resources and Support

Information is the currency in today’s world; those who have it are best equipped to succeed. MISSION UNITED, along with its partner organizations, is working to inform veterans of the help that is out there. The Palm Beach County Veteran Service Officers and 211 are vital points of entry into this network of agencies that can provide much-needed assistance.

Whether you need financial assistance, legal guidance, housing, food, mental health support, or want to get together with other veterans and have some fun, there are many resources available for the veteran community.

If you need assistance, you can refer to the Veteran Resource Map or call 211. If you want to meet someone in person, the Palm Beach County Veteran Service Officers are a great place to start.

MISSION UNITED Grant Application
The application window for the 2024-2025 MISSION UNITED Grant has opened! All applications must be submitted by April 2 via email to MissionUnited@UnitedWayPBC.org. Notice of decisions should be done in July 2024, with funds distributed by September 30, 2024.
Free Tax Preparation
United Way of Palm Beach County has partnered with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to provide free, confidential, and secure preparation and e-filing of tax returns to qualified taxpayers. To qualify, the taxpayer’s household income must have been $75,000 or less in 2023.
