The Mentor Center of Palm Beach County serves as that resource. United Way is a local resource that helps mentor programs through programmatic and technical assistance, training, and mentor recruitment. We are a local affiliate of MENTOR National, assisting potential mentors in finding a suitable program where they can be matched with a mentee. We also help parents find the best program for their children to be supported by mentors in a trusted friendship with a mentor. Lastly, we help mentoring programs solve any issues they may be having with their respective programs through either targeted technical assistance and/or training.
We currently have a network of 60 formal mentor programs, each of which falls into one of three categories: School-based, Site-based, and Community-based.
The Read and Initial Board is the place for various bits of information. In Marine Aviation, we use these boards to publish important information that the masses need to see. Here, you will find links to flyers, events, and other important information from MISSION UNITED-funded agencies.
