CLASSIFICATION: Hourly, Full Time

Position Summary

The Graphic Designer is responsible for designing effective marketing materials and ensuring consistency with United Way Worldwide brand standards. Promotional materials should have clear messaging, share the mission, and inspire people to get involved with United Way of Palm Beach County.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Use creative design and innovation to produce strategic marketing materials and promotional materials for all areas of the organization
  • Create invitations, brochures, annual reports, flyers, digital assets, and additional materials needed for all departments
  • Assist in creating and editing copy for print materials, videos, newsletters, etc.
  • Ensure brand consistency for all outgoing materials and communications
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Manage and maintain the organization’s photo library
  • Perform other duties as opportunities are presented and/or assigned by the Vice President of Marketing and Communications
  • Assist, as assigned by management, with the organization’s disaster response efforts
  • Perform other duties as opportunities are presented and/or assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
  • 3+ years of marketing, graphic design, and communications experience
  • Experience working in multiple media channels
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible to change
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint
