Agency Tour - For The Children

Members of United Way’s Emerging Leaders, Women United, and Leadership Circle will get an exclusive tour of the Kids Zone and the Youth Empowerment center at For The Children.

For The Children, located in Lake Worth, strives to empower strives to empower students to succeed in school and in life. They have various programs such as academic tutoring, computer skills training, sports/physical activity, dance lessons, and gardening to allow them to address a childÕs development needs in a comprehensive way.

 

  • The Kids Zone serves children ages 3-5 year-round Monday to Friday during the school day and offers after-school programming for school-aged children year-round.
  • The goal of Youth Zone is to increase educational success of children and youth, ages 5-12, by creating environments where learning is fun and attending school is the norm.

This event is free for members! RSVP today – space is limited.
