Mentor Center: LGBTQ Cultural Competency Training

This is a free Cultural Competency Training that focuses on LBGTQ issues. The goals for the training are as follows:

  • To understand what Compass is and what it does
  • To understand LGBTQ terms, concepts, and definitions
  • Learn the difference between sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression
  • To learn about LGBTQ history
  • To understand issues facing the LGBTQ community
  • Learn of ways you can support the community
