During Women’s History Month, we were proud to celebrate leaders who move our community forward as we gathered at Voices of Impact, presented by United Way of Palm Beach County’s membership group, Women United.
This event was especially meaningful as we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Women United and presented the inaugural Voices of Impact Awards.
Congratulations to our 2026 honorees:
Steward of Impact Award: Latosha Wallace
LaTosha is a dedicated mentor who believes every child deserves the tools to thrive. Through her model mentoring approach, she helps young people build confidence, resilience, and lifelong skills. By partnering with families, encouraging self-regulation, and leading by example, Latosha is helping shape a stronger future for children and families across Palm Beach County.
Champion of Impact Award: Palm Beach County Commissioner, Maria Marino
Maria is a visionary leader whose decades of public service and mentorship have strengthened communities across Palm Beach County. She is also a tireless advocate for women’s leadership, mentoring countless women and opening doors for the next generation of leaders.
We were proud to recognize all the outstanding nominees who embodied the spirit of Vision, Opportunity, Impact, Commitment, and Empowerment. We also honored Allison Taylor for her role in getting Women United started 10 years ago.
The evening also featured an inspiring panel discussion moderated by Paige Kornblue, featuring panelists Alexcia Cox, Maria Marino, and Nicole Cummings, who shared their perspectives on leadership, opportunity, and strengthening our community.
