What happens when community partners come together, step onto a bus and spend the day seeing impact firsthand?
You get the Ride United Community Impact Tour, a day designed to connect community leaders and partners with the people and organizations working every day to make Palm Beach County stronger.
At United Way of Palm Beach County, we know that our community’s most complex challenges cannot be solved by any one organization. Progress takes collaboration: nonprofit partners, businesses, donors, volunteers and community leaders working together toward a shared goal.
The Ride United Community Impact Tour offered a unique opportunity to see that collaboration up close.
Throughout the day, participants visited several of our nonprofit partner agencies and heard directly from the people leading meaningful work. Each stop offered a different perspective on the challenges facing our community, the solutions being developed, and the difference these organizations are making in the lives of individuals and families.
Our journey included visits with Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies of Palm Beach County, The Lord’s Place, Vita Nova, Take Stock in Children Palm Beach County, and Grandma’s Place, along with a look at the work of United Way of Palm Beach County’s own Mentoring team.
From supporting mothers and babies during critical stages of life to helping young people access mentorship and educational opportunities, providing safe spaces and services for families and assisting individuals experiencing homelessness, the stories shared throughout the day reflected the many ways our community comes together to support one another.
And while every stop looked a little different, the connection between them was clear: the strongest solutions are built through partnership.
Seeing the work firsthand also put a human face on the impact. Behind every program, service, and statistic is a person. A young person finding encouragement and guidance from a mentor. A family receiving support during a difficult moment. An individual taking steps toward greater stability and independence.
Those moments are possible because organizations across Palm Beach County are willing to work together, share expertise, and invest in solutions that address the needs of our community.
Of course, the journey between stops was part of the experience, too. A special thank you goes to the incredible team at Digital Vibez, who provided the ride, the energy and, as promised, all the good vibes along the way.

One of the greatest takeaways from the day was the opportunity to connect the dots. When we see the work happening across different organizations and communities, we gain a deeper understanding of how each piece contributes to something larger. Collaboration allows us to strengthen the network of support available to our neighbors and work toward solutions that create lasting change.
