Join us for lunch and an eye-opening discussion with United Way of Palm Beach County’s Hunger Relief team on Wednesday, April 24th, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Together, we’ll discuss the impact of food insecurity on families, children, and seniors right here in our community.
This event is exclusive for membership groups, United Way of Palm Beach County donors, and volunteers.
As summer approaches, it’s crucial to understand that the end of the school year also means the loss of a reliable source of nutrition for the estimated almost 80 percent of families with children enrolled in the Palm Beach County School District that are considered economically disadvantaged and rely on free meals at school, leaving them vulnerable during the summer months. We’ll share information about programs children, families, and seniors can participate in that provide free meals and food to our vulnerable community members during the summer months and year-round.
Let’s explore ways to get the word out in our community and address these pressing issues to create a Hunger Free Palm Beach County. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of those facing food insecurity. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, engage, and take action. Save your spot today!
