Energetically moderated by Paige Kornblue, Events & Media at ESPN, will lead the discussion on how women are shaping the future through leadership and philanthropy!

ESPN’s Paige Kornblue is a seasoned journalist, Bush’s Boca Raton Bowl event specialist, Boca magazine contributor, and podcast host, with her work spanning television, live events, and storytelling across sports, travel, and community. Beyond the mic, she’s a mom of three and passionate advocate for local nonprofits, serving on multiple boards and committees dedicated to education, youth, and family support.

Alexcia Cox: State Attorney, Palm Beach County

Alexcia Cox proudly serves as the elected State Attorney for Florida’s 15th Judicial Circuit. A Palm Beach County native, she leads the largest law firm in the county, with a team of 120 prosecutors and 180 professional staff across five offices. Her esteemed legal career has spanned almost two decades, during which time she has successfully prosecuted hundreds of cases, including domestic violence, felonies, elder abuse, child abuse, and other violent crimes. She has earned multiple honors – including the Justice Barbara Pariente Award, Trailblazer of the Year, and Rising Star Award – and serves as the 2025-26 Florida Bar Board of Governors Liaison. Active in numerous professional and civic organizations, she is also a dedicated mentor and a proud honors graduate of Florida State University College of Law and University of Central Florida, where she received UCF’s prestigious Order of Pegasus Award. State Attorney Alexcia Cox is dedicated to serving Palm Beach County, leading with integrity, fairness, and excellence.

Maria Marino: County Commissioner, Palm Beach County

Maria Marino has served as a Palm Beach County Commissioner since 2020 and was reelected in 2024, following earlier service on the Palm Beach Gardens City Council, including two terms as Mayor. She holds numerous regional and statewide leadership roles, chairing major boards such as the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council, the Tourist Development Council, Tri‑Rail, the Solid Waste Authority, and the Palm Beach Metropolitan Planning Organization. Marino has earned multiple honors, including the Women of Excellence Award, Florida Association of Counties Presidential Advocacy Award, Leadership Palm Beach County’s Leadership Excellence Award, and induction into the Palm Beach County Sports Hall of Fame, reflecting her success in her professional golf career. Her career reflects strong leadership, decisive action, and a deep commitment to public service. She remains deeply active in the community through her involvement with over 30 nonprofits and leadership roles, including the Edna W. Runner Tutorial Center, the Forum Club, and Impact the Palm Beaches.

Nicole Cummings: L3Harris Technologies, Inc., NASA RL10 Exploration, Upper Stage Program Manager

Nicole Cummings serves as an Upper Stage Program Manager for NASA’s RL10 Exploration at L3Harris Technologies, overseeing the rocket engine that will power the Space Launch System (SLS) Block 1B for NASA’s Artemis missions, which aim to land the first woman and first person of color on the Moon. Cummings earned her B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and a M.S. degree from the National Graduate School. She began her aerospace career as an intern. She worked as a Test Engineer and a Launch Operations Liaison for NASA and United Launch Alliance. After demonstrating her excellence in the engineering field, she transitioned into business as an Operations Manager, introducing new technologies into production. Cummings is also a dedicated STEM advocate who regularly visits schools to expose students to the excitement of engineering. Cummings also founded Sophisticated out Loud (SoL) to support women- and minority‑owned businesses through networking and growth tools. Her impact has earned her numerous honors, including multiple “40 Under 40” recognitions, the WPB Women’s Chamber of Commerce Giraffe Award, and International Career and Business Alliance (ICABA) Women of Impact awards. She also serves on the academic advisory board for FAU’s College of Engineering.
