The Mentor Mile! 1 Mile Walk / 5K Run Volunteer Project

Volunteer to assist with our Mentor’s Center’s First Annual 1-mile Walk / 5K Run!

This is a family-oriented event filled with fun activities including a bounce house, fire truck, vendors, music, food, and much more.

Shifts available: 6:30 am – 9:00 am and 9:00 am – 11:30 am

All volunteers must be 18 or older.

Tasks include:

• Assisting with parking
• Assisting with set up
• Assisting with the start line and finish line
• Handing out medals
• Handing out food and beverages
• Assisting vendors
• Handing out water at the water station for the runners
• Putting out signs throughout the course of the 5K
• Assisting with games/activities (crafts table, ring toss, etc.)
• Assisting with cleaning up after the event

Information about parking will be emailed to all volunteers prior to the event.

Water and snacks will be provided.
