For the Children Impact Tour

Happening Jun 6, 2024 | 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM

You’re invited to see firsthand how United Way of Palm Beach County is supporting youth in our community through an exclusive behind the scenes tour of our partner agency, For the Children! On Thursday, June 6th from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm, we will come together to recognize the importance and transformative power of education, as we celebrate National Higher Education Day.

This event is exclusive for membership groups, United Way of Palm Beach County donors, and volunteers.

For the Children has been tirelessly dedicated to empowering students to thrive academically and in life for more than two decades. Their culturally sensitive programs and services are uniquely designed to nurture the creative, academic, emotional, and social development of the children they serve, spanning from pre-K to high school students. United Way of Palm Beach County proudly supports their Teen Learning Center, funded under our Graduate and Thrive impact area. This remarkable program provides early intervention to guide at-risk youth, with a particular emphasis on English Language Learners, towards success in school, at home, and within our community. The diverse range of activities offered through this program plays a pivotal role in helping youth overcome potential challenges such as adolescent delinquency, violence, addiction, teen pregnancy, and dropping out of school.

Your support and presence make a significant difference in our collective efforts to create a brighter future for our youth. Sign up now!
