United Way of Palm Beach County condemns the acts of racism and ethnic violence against the Asian American and Pacific Islander community. Following the murders in Atlanta, we stand with our neighbors who must confront the anxiety and grief resulting from hate-fueled violence.
Today, as we mourn with the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, we stand resolute in condemning all forms of racism and hate.
UWPBC is committed to creating a culture of diversity and inclusion throughout our sphere of influence, including the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, affinity groups, partner agencies, and donors.
Our core principles focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our work. We must continue to be a leader in the fight for equity and strive to create communities where everyone has the resources, opportunities, and support they need to thrive.
We call on everyone to stand with us to ensure unobstructed access to the basics, opportunities, rights, privileges, and protections our society has to offer.
